Aftercare

Discontinue products containing any exfoliating agents (retinoic acid, tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/astringents, etc.) 1 week before treatment.

Discontinue salicylic acids before treatment 2 weeks

Not had any aesthetic treatments within 2 weeks of the procedure e.g. Botox, dermal filler.

Not had laser/IPL/Light therapy/Microdermabrasion in the last 2 weeks.

If you have a history of herpes or cold sores, we highly recommend a course of anti-viral medication pre and post treatment. This will prevent an outbreak of cold sores

Not had any recent skin piercings in that area over the last 8 weeks and require to be fully healed.

1 week prior, not had skin bleaching/wax/electrolysis/ depilation,facial treatments using AHA/BHA/vitamin A

If able to, please stop any medication 7 days prior that can increase your risk of bleeding e.g. Aspirin, fish oil, ibuprofen.

Avoid heavy exercise 24 hrs prior to your appointment.
